Is that irony?
Last night, as I was walking the dog, I was scooping my dog’s poop (like a good dog owner), and having finished, I stepped into the poop from a dog who’s owner is less civic-minded than I.
And I wonder to myself…is that irony?
In other news, I am writing fairly regularly, and have almost finished the first draft of the short story I’ve been writing. Once I’ve finally completed the story, I’ll be looking for a couple of people to read it over. I have no idea what to do with the story once its been completed in its final form (however many rewrites that might take), but at the moment I’m just trying to get the story finished, since I’d originally wanted to get it finished before Christmas.
As you can see, I’m slightly behind on that.

I’m not sure that it qualifies as irony.
I am sure that it proves the old adage - “shit happens”!
